Observation of Whale's Fin -- Inspiration of A Surprise Fan
The innovative design of Surprise cooling fan is inspired by the humpback whale. The dots on the fan blades of Surprise cooler functions the same way as the protrusions on the pectoral fins of the humpback whale. The dots on the fan blades increase the surface area of the blades, and thus move higher volume of air through the air flow courses. What's more, the bigger fan blades which resemble the whale's fins have a more effective angle of attack of about 40 degrees more than conventional cooling fans.
